Role Overview: Leading Content Strategy and Client Success

As our Manager of Content Strategy (MCS), you'll be at the helm of a team of four, delivering top-tier LinkedIn strategy and service to a diverse portfolio of B2B clients. This multifaceted role combines people management with high-level client strategy, requiring a unique blend of leadership, marketing expertise, and exceptional client service skills.

The MCS is a linchpin of our client service team, reporting directly to our Director of Client Service. Your success will be measured by client retention, and you'll be responsible for driving team performance, client satisfaction, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities: Driving Client Success and Team Excellence

  • Leadership and Team Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of three Content Strategists and one Copywriter, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Internal Meetings and Coaching: Lead internal pod meetings and 1:1 staff meetings to track results, improve team performance, and coach team members.
  • Client Strategy and Service: Lead your team to deliver best-in-class LinkedIn strategy and service for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Client Relationships and Growth: Develop deep and trusting relationships with clients, providing expert-level consultation and strategy in monthly client meetings, and leading client upsells as needed.
  • Process Improvement and Operations: Build and improve client service processes, ensuring seamless operations and high efficiency.
  • Issue Resolution and Crisis Management: Take quick action when client issues arise, working to create solutions that maintain client trust and reduce churn.
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Develop and maintain strong knowledge of LinkedIn and B2B marketing strategy, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile: A Seasoned Marketing Leader

To succeed in this role, you'll need to embody our core values and bring a unique combination of skills and experience. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing professional with:

  • 3+ years of marketing/advertising agency client service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional client results.
  • 1+ year of experience managing a team of 2 or more, with strong leadership skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing (ideally B2B), with a strong understanding of LinkedIn marketing strategy and best practices.
  • Exceptional writing ability and a keen creative eye, with the ability to engage and manage client expectations effectively.
  • A self-motivated and ambitious attitude, with a desire to grow into a leadership role and drive business growth.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple client projects simultaneously, with a demonstrated history of operating under tight deadlines.

While not required, B2B marketing experience is highly desirable, and a strong understanding of our core values is essential.
