Job Summary

As a Pharmacist - Centralized Services, you will play a critical role in executing medical services methodologies, driving patient well-being outcomes, and ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services. You will be responsible for remote prescription processing, fostering strong relationships with clinical networks, and serving as a subject matter expert and resource to pharmacists and field leaders. Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes direct patient care programs, including Drug Therapy Management programs, Immunization Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
  • Drives compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by analyzing, evaluating, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes.
  • Leads local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial goals and executing patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance.
  • Enhances patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services, such as patient counseling, prescription management, and medication therapy reviews.
  • Provides expertise, resources, training, and support to pharmacists and field leadership, promoting collaboration and motivating Pharmacy staff.
  • Conducts data and clinical reviews, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and propriety of prescriptions.
  • Reviews patient profiles to ensure safe and effective medication therapy, providing personalized patient/supplier counseling.
  • Responds to patient inquiries, providing clinical counsel and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as needed.
  • Performs other work consistent with job obligations, adhering to guidelines and procedures, and complying with company policies and HIPAA regulations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Current Pharmacist license issued by the appropriate state licensing authority.
  • Experience motivating colleagues to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Experience working with confidential information.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience utilizing time management skills, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision, making decisions, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards, and assessing customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacist licenses if required.
  • Knowledge of insurance plans and pharmacy operations.
  • Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
