As a member of our Studio Exploration and Examination team, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this mission by analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business strategies and drive key initiatives. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Data Analyst, you'll work closely with our Disney Item, Showcasing and Content Curation, and In-Home Promoting and Circulation teams to analyze and interpret complex data sets, identify trends and insights, and develop data-driven recommendations to inform business strategies. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions, and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise visualizations. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist with a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analysis exercises, including data collection, data cleaning, and data visualization * Join disparate data sources using SQL to support the daily activities of the Disney customer experience following project * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions, and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise visualizations * Develop and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and across different divisions of the organization, as well as external vendors * Analyze and prepare progress and ad-hoc reports involving quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the item marketing, engagement, and product strategy of Disney and the Disney Streaming Pack * Manage allocated projects, execute quality assurance cycles, and report tasks and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timelines * Work with the Sr. Administrator and team to ensure that each outcome is decisively meaningful and drives key independent direction * Collaborate with the team and research groups within Snowflake and Databricks * Maintain both exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data components and requirements * Respond to basic data requests from internal clients * Support the presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions **Essential Capabilities** * Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and join disparate data sources * Ability to extract data and join with other data sources to develop a rich, comprehensive picture for the business * Strong quantitative thinking and analytical skills * Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-speed environment * Excellent communication and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations * Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work effectively in a climate of tight deadlines and continuous change **Favored Capabilities** * Proficiency in data handling tools (e.g. SPSS, Q, MarketSight) * Experience with survey tools (e.g. Translate, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Knowledge of R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages * Postgraduate education in Statistical Research or Measurement * Quantitative analysis background, either provider-side or client-side * Experience with analyzing survey data to extract significant insights * Experience with membership-based plans of action and procedure **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly rate of $23/hour * Opportunity to work with a global leader in the entertainment industry * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Flexible remote work arrangement (part-time, Monday-Thursday in-office and Friday remote) * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data-driven insights, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
