Position Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Architect with a strong background in device management to lead our efforts in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Group Policy (GPO) Auditing and Migration: Utilize your expertise to audit and migrate existing GPOs, ensuring they are valid and compatible with our new cloud-based environment, with a focus on transitioning to cloud-based management.
 - Intune and SCCM Integration: Leverage your proficiency in Microsoft Intune and SCCM to streamline application approval and device management processes, including patch management integration with PatchMyPC, and tools like ServiceNow or Flexera.
 - Mobile Device Management (MDM) Expertise: Apply your knowledge of managing company-provided mobile devices, including configuring wipe capabilities and integrating third-party MDM solutions with Intune.
 - Autopilot Integration and Deployment: Utilize your familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot for device deployment, integrating procurement partners into the Autopilot process, and ensuring smooth migration from hybrid to Azure-joined environments without device resets.
 - Cross-Platform Device Management: Integrate and manage Mac-based devices, VDI environments, and ensure seamless compatibility with Intune and other MDM platforms.
 - Compliance and Configuration Policy Management: Define and implement baseline compliance, configuration, app protection, and conditional access policies based on device ownership, identity, location, and other parameters.
 - Cloud Attach and Device Management via SCCM: Leverage SCCM's Cloud Attach functionality for hybrid device management, integrating CMDB systems into Intune for comprehensive device tracking.
 - Data Reporting and Dashboarding: Publish and present compliance dashboards derived from Intune data for executive leadership, ensuring visibility into device status, security, and compliance across the organization.
 
Essential Qualifications
- Successful Consulting Experience: Proven track record of success in consulting, with a strong understanding of device management and cloud-based solutions.
 - Incorporated or Willing to Subcontract: Must be incorporated, show proof of insurance, or be willing to subcontract.
 - Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
