About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at PBD Worldwide, you will be the face of our company, interacting with clients and customers through various channels, including email, chat, phone, and fax. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely product and service information, ensuring prompt and accurate order completion, and maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude in all your interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process client emails, chats, faxes, and lockbox with accuracy and adherence to process (i.e., FIFO)
  • Handle specialty orders and processes with care and attention to detail
  • Provide client chat support, responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries
  • Deliver exceptional customer service phone support, resolving customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude while delivering superior customer service via phone, email, and chat
  • Provide accurate and timely product and service information to clients and customers
  • Ensure prompt and accurate order completion, adhering to client requirements and internal processes
  • Complete account correspondence (email, chat, fax, etc.) in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous inbound call center experience, preferably in a customer service or fulfillment environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions
  • Excellent computer, typing, and 10-key skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills, with the ability to interact with clients and customers in a professional and empathetic manner

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a 3PL or fulfillment environment
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and online order management systems
  • Knowledge of customer service software and technology, such as chat and email management tools
  • Previous experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment
