About the Role: Technical Customer Care Specialist I

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Customer Care Specialist I to join our remote call center team. As a Technical Customer Care Specialist I, you'll work directly with customers via phone and email to resolve their application and product issues, providing exceptional customer service from inception to resolution. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical and interpersonal skills to make a difference in the lives of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication: Represent VinSolutions in customer communication via phone and email to assist customers in resolving technical issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot difficult problems with either the customer's configuration, our software, or other vendor integration points.
  • Training and Support: Provide one-on-one training to new and existing customers as needed while working on support tickets.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues that prevent users from utilizing our software.
  • Follow-up and Communication: Provide proper follow-up, even when a problem has not been resolved, to ensure the customer is kept apprised of issue status.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain strong working knowledge of released products.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Accommodate extended work hours, a flexible schedule, and work overtime as needed.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experience: Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to change.
  • CRM Ticketing System: Ability to accurately facilitate communication between the customer description and the written word in the CRM ticketing system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: College degree preferred; at a minimum Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred or commensurate work experience.
  • Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and document issues related to system performance and functionality.
  • Online Product Support: Experience supporting online products and services.
  • Web Developer Tools: Experience using web developer tools to troubleshoot website problems (e.g., Chrome, IE, Firefox, etc.).
  • Mobile Device Support: Experience supporting mobile devices such as IOS and Android.
