Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the state of Florida.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong knowledge of relevant state and federal controlled substance regulations.
• Certified Immunizer or able to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare providers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

While not required, the following preferred qualifications and experience will be considered an asset:

• At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems, electronic health records, and other healthcare technology.
• Knowledge of clinical guidelines, disease state management, and health promotion.
• Experience with community outreach and health education programs.
