About the Role: Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services

This is a full-time telecommuting position that offers the opportunity to lead the implementation of healthcare management services for assigned functional areas. As an Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services, you will be responsible for driving clinical strategies and best practices, coaching and guiding your team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implements clinical strategies and protocols in accordance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., NCQA, URAC, state and federal regulations and guidelines as appropriate)
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and coach to the team regarding practice guidelines, quality of interventions, issue resolution, and critical thinking
  • Ensures execution and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address the member's needs across the continuum of care
  • May serve as a liaison with other key business areas and develop/aid in the development and/or review of new training content
  • Collaborates/conducts inter and intra-departmental educational sessions and safeguards the confidentiality of member information
  • Oversees resources responsible for identification of individuals, development and execution of care plans, enhancement of clinical appropriateness and quality of care, and monitoring, evaluating, and documenting of care
  • Evaluates and interprets data, identifies areas of improvement, and focuses on interventions to improve outcomes
  • Develops, initiates, evaluates, monitors, and communicates performance assumptions and ensures the team's understanding and utilization of information system capabilities and functionality
  • Participates in the recruitment and hiring process for staff, evaluates developmental needs, and collaborates with others to identify and implement action plans that support the development of high-performing teams
  • Establishes a climate and work style that promotes the concept of collaboration, cross-product integration, and continuum of care mindset that results in strong performance
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to act as a change agent and lead change efforts
  • Establishes a positive work environment by recognizing team contributions, soliciting input, and offering individual support, when needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical subject matter
  • Active and unrestricted RN or LCSW licensure in the state of residence
  • Bachelor's degree (Graduate degree in a related field preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Managed care experience, particularly in government healthcare
  • Experience working from home/remote environment, utilizing tools to virtually collaborate and connect with teams
  • BSN or higher degree in a related field

Skills and Competencies:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. You will need to be able to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement plans to drive results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working with various stakeholders, including team members, suppliers, and other leaders.

Compensation and Benefits:

The typical salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 per year. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
