Job Duties and Responsibilities of Relief Aide: • Provide guidance and help to students on an individual basis or in smaller, focused gatherings. • Aid in establishing a positive environment for learning by effectively managing the classroom. • Compile resources and support in managing administrative responsibilities. • Monitor students across a range of school locations, such as dining areas, play spaces, and off-site excursions. • Provide support to students with special needs according to the guidelines set out in their IEPs or 504 Plans. • Aid students with their academic, personal, and emotional necessities. • Carry out supplementary responsibilities as required by the teacher in the classroom or the school administration. Qualifications and Experience of Relief Aide: • Attainment of a high school diploma or a GED is a common prerequisite for many opportunities. • Skillfulness in English communication (speaking, reading, writing).
