Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Accurately and efficiently entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers.
- Navigating through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry.
- Differentiating between various claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines.
- Identifying specific document types that require special handling.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure work is completed within designated turnaround times.
- Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements.
- Performing quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines.
- Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed.
- Alerting management to potential issues upon identification of discrepancies.
- Providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies.
Essential Qualifications
