We are currently seeking experienced CNAs and PCAs to join our team in Manakin Sabot, VA, and surrounding areas, including Goochland. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our clients, while also enjoying a competitive hourly rate of $18 per hour, paid weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist elder care clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
- Monitor client's health conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to our care team
- Provide compassionate, professional care and support, promoting a safe and comfortable living environment
- Respond to any medical or behavioral problems, intervening as necessary to ensure the client's well-being
- Offer companionship and socialization, engaging clients in activities that promote mental and emotional stimulation
- Maintain accurate records of client care, including vital signs, medication reminders, and daily logs
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:
- Current CNA and/or PCA certification
- A minimum of 1+ year of professional experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in home care or a related field
- The ability to quickly and effectively assess the needs of the elderly population, responding with empathy and understanding
- Physical ability to easily lift and transfer clients, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
In addition to these essential qualifications, we prefer candidates with:
- Previous experience working with seniors with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Knowledge of home care software and electronic visit verification systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
