Job Description

As a Remote Dispatch Call Center Agent with Leading Edge Connections, you'll play a critical role in our customer experience operations. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, handling both inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and care. Your responsibilities will include dispatching technicians or resources to customers, managing calls with potentially distressed customers, and ensuring that client needs are met with empathy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to customers on a daily basis, providing them with the support they need.
  • Dispatching the proper technicians or resources to customer locations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Remaining calm and composed when dealing with distressed or upset customers, turning potentially negative experiences into positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrating punctuality and reliability, adhering to scheduled shifts and meeting performance expectations.
  • Providing customer service that is not only responsive but also empathetic and caring, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported.
  • Ensuring that client needs are met through effective communication and problem-solving.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a call center environment, preferably in dispatch or customer service roles.
  • Ownership of a computer (desktop or laptop with a 4-core processor) - Chromebooks, iPads/Tablets, and MacBooks are not compatible.
  • A wired USB headset with a microphone for clear and effective communication.
  • Reliability and dependability in work habits and performance.
  • Experience with data entry and word processing, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple demands.
  • Basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a positive, "can do" attitude.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more monitors/screens for enhanced productivity, required for some projects.
  • Two years or more of experience in a call center environment, with a background in sales or customer service.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Hubspot, and/or dialing software like DialPad.
