Position Summary
As a Flexible Benefits Account Manager, you will serve as a dedicated contact for assigned employer groups, managing key relationships with clients, HR and benefits management teams, and their brokers/consultants. Your primary objective will be to provide proactive support, ensure seamless implementation, and deliver exceptional service to our clients. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule, offering the flexibility to work remotely from any U.S. city, following an 8:30-5:00pm EST schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management:
	
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employer groups, managing key relationships with clients, HR and benefits management teams, and their brokers/consultants.
 - Proactively identify and support client needs, ensuring the highest level of responsiveness and problem-solving.
 - Coordinate internally as needed to remain up-to-date on ongoing processes relative to assigned clients.
 - Hold quarterly touch-base meetings with assigned clients, conducting a general check-in and addressing topics as needed.
 - Assist with client renewal assistance and tracking of renewal status.
 - Become an expert in the Alegeus Portal to assist clients and brokers with processes as needed.
 
 - First-Class Customer Service:
	
- Provide leading customer service to all clients, brokers, vendors, and other interested parties.
 - Respond promptly to all client/broker email requests.
 - Assist in creating special processes for clients in collaboration with other departments as needed.
 - Assist with escalated customer service matters relative to key accounts prior to escalation to Management.
 
 - General Responsibilities:
	
- Manage time independently and company resources appropriately.
 - Engage productively with other team members to encourage and maintain a positive, up-building environment.
 - Maintain the safety of client data.
 - Perform other duties as requested by Management.
 
 
Travel Requirements
This is a remote position with limited domestic travel, approximately 25% of work time (e.g., ABG Home Office, client sites, benefits industry events).
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
 - Experience: 2+ years of experience in benefits administration, account management, or a related field.
 - Skills:
	
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CEBS, CPCU, or other relevant certifications.
 - Experience: Experience with benefits administration software, such as Alegeus.
 - Skills:
	
- Knowledge of IRS Section 125 regulations and benefits administration.
 - Experience with client relationship management and account management.
