Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and family care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical issues, health counseling, and behavioral anticipatory guidance to our patients.
 - Perform administrative duties, such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient flow, insurance verification, and payment collection, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
 - Take ownership of patient care, including scheduling appointments, conducting steering assessments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
 - Empower patients to take an active role in their healthcare through services like health screenings, social determinants of health, wellness, and chronic condition management.
 - Request and administer vaccinations and injections (including COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent immunization counseling and education.
 
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Practice license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role, or a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (or related field) with current National Board Certification and State of Practice license to practice in the role.
 - At least two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
 - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including mouth-to-mouth and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
 - The ability to pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- If under 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
 - Proficiency in additional languages, such as Spanish, is desirable.
