Position Summary
The Housing Program Coordinator is part of the Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) Risk Analysis & Compliance (RAC) team, which monitors PHB’s affordable multi-family housing stock through the terms of the regulatory and loan agreements. The RAC team performs compliance for approximately 400 multi-family affordable housing projects, which includes approximately 18,000 units. The RAC team is comprised of a manager, three Housing Program Coordinators, four Housing Program Specialists, and a Housing Assistant Program Specialist.
As the RAC Housing Program Coordinator, you will:
• Perform annual compliance testing on multi-family affordable housing projects, which includes analyzing tenant, property, and financial data to determine compliance with regulatory and loan agreements.
• Review and approve Asset Management Plans and other relevant documents prior to project close, and as needed when organizational changes are made.
• Review and approve reserve withdrawal requests.
• Develop and update written procedures and policies.
• Research, develop, recommend and implement project plans to meet overall program goals established by the Bureau.
