About the Role
As an Elementary Instructional Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of our students. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with teachers, staff, and students to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Instruction
- Tutoring and instructing students under the direction of the classroom teacher
- Supporting students during classroom group work and activities
- Modifying instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students
- Assisting students with technology and other educational tools
- Helping students maintain focus and engagement in their learning
- Documentation and Data
- Understanding students' goals and individual needs
- Observing and collecting data on student progress
- Organizing data and writing notes/summaries to inform instruction
- Giving feedback on student work and behavior
- Student Management
- Monitoring hallways, study halls, and other areas to ensure student safety and well-being
- Reinforcing school-wide behavioral expectations
- Following student behavior plans to support positive behavior
- Clerical and Administrative Tasks
- Scheduling activities and events
- Copying, stapling, and other administrative tasks
- Handling records and student information in a confidential manner
- Completing assigned mandated training programs
- Additional Responsibilities
- Providing medical or personal care/hygiene to students as needed
- Lifting up to 50 pounds to support student needs
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Associate's degree or 2 years of college credit or its equivalent (i.e., Para Professional Assessment)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport with students and possess a personable relationship with teachers
- Ability to carry out directions in both oral and written form
- Prior experience working with school-age children is a plus

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $22.99-$26.87 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will be eligible for the following benefits:
