Ultra Mobile, a dynamic and innovative telecommunications company, is seeking a talented Manager, Social Media to join its Marketing Team on a remote basis. As a key member of the team, you will report to the Senior Director, Social Media, and play a crucial role in shaping the social media landscape for Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile.

About the Role: Championing Social Media Excellence

As the Manager, Social Media, you will be the driving force behind Ultra Mobile's social media presence, leading initiatives that foster brand loyalty, reinforce the brand voice, and drive engagement. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing engagement tactics to grow followers, boost engagement, and drive traffic to Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile's websites.
  • Leading and managing Ultra Mobile's social content calendar across multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and X.
  • Collaborating with creative partners to develop content that aligns with social media best practices.
  • Designing social media images and graphics, including ad-hoc creative development as needed.
  • Overseeing Ultra Mobile's community management strategy to ensure a best-in-class social experience.
  • Partnering with the Social Strategist to track social profile and content performance, identifying high-performing ideas and optimizing the content calendar.
  • Leveraging social listening to monitor Ultra Mobile social sentiment and providing insights to the Brand team.
  • Serving as the primary contact for Ultra Mobile between external social partners, such as influencers and content creators.
  • Leading and coordinating on-platform Ultra Mobile social campaigns to drive brand KPIs.
  • Launching and supporting Ultra Mobile influencer marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness.
  • Participating in and supporting Mint Mobile marketing campaigns as needed.

What You Bring: Skills, Experience, and Passion

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • 4+ years of brand experience developing social media creative, strategy, editing copy, and engaging with an audience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with native Facebook/X/Instagram Insights and CMS tools like Sprout Social.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media best practices, emerging technologies, new content offerings, and platform capabilities.
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • A team player with a passion for their work and a critical thinker who can work independently.
  • A risk-taker willing to try new tactics and strategies on social media to drive engagement.
  • A deep interest in pursuing a career in social media marketing.

Compensation and Benefits

The range of starting pay for this role is $80,000 - $90,000, depending on factors such as skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.
