About the Role: Driving Success in People Operations

The People Operations Specialist at Hamilton Raye is the linchpin in enhancing and managing our hiring processes, team onboarding, engagement, and day-to-day people operations. This role is not just about managing tasks; it's about creating a vibrant, connected culture that celebrates individual contributions and milestones. As a people-centered role, you'll work closely with various departments, including IT and mentorship programs, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and foster a culture that thrives on engagement, learning, and recognition.

Key Responsibilities: Where Your Skills Shine

  • Recruitment & Hiring Process Management
    • Source, review resumes, and conduct phone interviews for potential candidates, ensuring the best talent is identified and brought on board.
    • Develop and enhance a streamlined hiring process, including workflows, stages, templates, and email communications in our recruitment system, to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
    • Continuously optimize the hiring process to ensure it remains effective and aligned with the company's growing needs.
  • Onboarding Coordination
    • Schedule setup sessions with new hires before onboarding to confirm access and complete initial setup, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
    • Coordinate with IT for onboarding-related support and track completion of setup and required courses, ensuring new hires have everything they need to succeed.
    • Manage onboarding communication by sharing announcements in Slack, adding new hires to the admin database, creating admin bios, and aligning with the mentor program, making sure new team members feel welcome and integrated.
  • Team Engagement & Development
    • Organize buddy groups to foster connections within the team, promoting a culture of collaboration and camaraderie.
    • Lead training initiatives and coordinate team-building activities that encourage growth, learning, and fun.
    • Build training tools and resources for team member development, ensuring our team is always equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
    • Plan and execute birthday, holiday, and team anniversary celebrations, making sure special days are recognized and celebrated across the team.
  • Team Performance & Recognition
    • Develop a performance tracking plan to monitor and support team development, ensuring our team members are always on a path to growth.
    • Create, update, and manage team bios, and incorporate these onto the company website during onboarding, showcasing our team's talent and achievements.
  • Benefits & Communication Support
    • Assist with benefit coordination and updates, maintaining a central information hub in Circle, ensuring our team has access to the benefits they need.
    • Send out reminders for paid holidays and other essential team updates, keeping everyone informed and on the same page.
