Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring to high school and middle school students in math, homework prep, and other related subjects
• Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student
• Effectively balance tutoring hours for each assigned student and ensure that each student receives the support they need to succeed
• Prepare session reports for our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session
• Respond to existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner
• Follow up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours
• Service students whose needs align with your areas of expertise and experience

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, with a focus on math tutoring or teaching
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching in specialized education fields, such as math or science
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus, but not a requirement
• Experience with basic database/data entry and strong administration skills
• Ability to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session, including developing lesson plans and materials
• Strong typing, PC, and recording skills, as well as reliable transportation and current car insurance
• Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in education, math, or a related field
• Certification in math tutoring or teaching, such as a math specialist certification
• Experience working with students with diverse learning styles and needs
