This role is responsible for executing clinical pharmacy programs, coordinating strategies to increase adherence, and utilizing motivational interviewing and health coaching to impact member behavior. You'll work closely with pharmacies, provider offices, and internal stakeholders to support clinical programs and drive business outcomes. With a remote work arrangement and flexible hours to accommodate different time zones, this role offers the perfect blend of autonomy and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute clinical pharmacy programs to support Medicare Part D stars initiatives and drive member engagement
  • Coordinate strategies to increase adherence and improve health outcomes for our members
  • Utilize motivational interviewing and health coaching to impact member behavior and drive positive change
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacies, provider offices, and internal stakeholders to support clinical programs
  • Collaborate with leadership and management to adapt and strengthen business and operational processes
  • Work effectively in a matrix environment to drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment
  • Prioritize daily to monthly deliverables and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Travel up to 10% to support business needs and stakeholder engagement

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong foundation in clinical pharmacy, managed care, or population health. Here are the essential qualifications we're looking for:

  • 1+ year of experience with Medicare Stars, managed care, or population health
  • 2+ years of customer or patient-facing experience, with a strong track record of driving engagement and outcomes
  • 1-2 years of enhanced knowledge of pharmacy and claims processing, with a strong understanding of clinical programs and initiatives
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliverables
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, clinicians, and internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Sharepoint, with a strong technical foundation

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent clinical training
  • Knowledge of formulary designs, prescription benefit trends, and clinical programs
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations
  • Medical terminology knowledge, with a strong understanding of clinical concepts and initiatives

Education and Certifications

We're looking for candidates with a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent clinical training. If you have a strong clinical background and a passion for driving healthcare outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

Compensation and Benefits

At CVS Health, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, bonus, and short-term incentive programs. The typical pay range for this role is $46,988.00 - $112,200.00, depending on experience, education, and geography.
