Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Compensation will be responsible for supporting our Total Rewards strategy by providing expertise and leadership in designing, evaluating, analyzing, implementing, and administering compensation programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, analyze, design, and implement the organization's compensation programs, including job evaluations, salary administration, short and long-term incentive programs, executive compensation, sales compensation, deferred compensation, and compensation technology and tools.
  • Understand market conditions and best practices, applying this knowledge to our compensation philosophy, strategic plans, and organizational changes to ensure our compensation policies and programs are aligned and competitive.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement creative and proactive solutions to remain compliant and competitive, overseeing the design of compensation structures and managing technology, tools, and systems to support compensation-related activities.
  • Manage the development of communication materials and lead training related to compensation programs as needed, designing and administering short-term and long-term incentive plans, policies, and guidelines, and overseeing the payment calculation process.
  • Serve as the Compensation Lead on large-scale projects being conducted across the organization, partnering with all levels of management, payroll, finance, vendors, inside and outside legal counsel, and government agencies.
  • Proactively seek out and maintain a working knowledge of legislation that may affect compensation policies and practices, reviewing trends and advancements in technology to develop recommendations and execute changes and improvements.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in compensation and total rewards, with a deep understanding of market conditions, best practices, and legislative requirements. You will be a strategic thinker, able to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions to drive business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, preferred qualifications include experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven track record of success in managing and implementing compensation programs. A strong network of contacts in the compensation and total rewards community would be an asset, as would experience working with HRIS systems and compensation technology and tools.
