Labs Intern
Cboe Labs seeks a Master's student intern to build financial models, conduct data analysis, and develop innovative market solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
• Conduct product research and development by synthesizing data analysis with market intelligence and product information.
• Gain in-depth exposure to Cboe’s products and services through projects impacting multiple business areas.
• Lead, design, and implement an independent project to develop product knowledge and project management skills, culminating in a presentation to Cboe leadership and Derivatives Strategy teammates.
About You
The company is looking for:
• Master’s degree candidate in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical fields, not graduating before December of the internship year.
• Knowledge or strong interest in global financial markets, especially derivatives.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and coding skills in Python, SQL, or other data science languages.
• Resourceful self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Strong ability to learn quickly and become a knowledge resource on unfamiliar topics.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing demands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive hourly pay range of $25.00 - $36.00 based on education level.
