About the Role: Shaping the Technical Future

As a Staff Engineer at Easy Agile, you will be responsible for defining and guiding the implementation of complex architectural decisions, nurturing technical excellence, and evolving our product suite thinking. You will work closely with our existing engineering teams, product, and design to drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the next 12-18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and shape the product architecture, integrating our existing products into a cohesive suite.
  • Develop and implement a technical vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with our company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, to advise on the feasibility of product strategy.
  • Mentor and coach software engineers at all levels, accelerating their technical capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Improve shared libraries, tooling, testing, and coding standards to enhance development efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive technical innovation, staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in front-end or full-stack development, with a strong background in SaaS product development.
  • Deep-seated knowledge of designing and implementing robust and scalable architectural solutions.
  • Proficiency in frontend languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to adapt to backend languages like Java.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, with a passion for coaching and mentoring software engineers.
  • Strong storytelling skills, able to communicate technical decisions and vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java frameworks and libraries.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Ecosystem.
