Major Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Monitoring Representative at blithequark, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Handling incoming alarm calls and placing outgoing calls to verify alarm activity, dispatching the proper authorities, and notifying responsible parties.
- Paying close attention to detail while documenting alarm handling procedures within the alarm screens.
- Completing alarm processing in accordance with departmental procedures to ensure timely and effective responses.
- Providing alarm reset instructions and basic troubleshooting to customers during outbound alarm calls and inbound alarm call backs.
- Receiving and handling inbound calls related to alarm call back inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed as a Customer Service Monitoring Representative at blithequark, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of six (6) months of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service.
- Technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The ability to be licensed in multiple states, as required by the role.
While not mandatory, having previous experience in a security monitoring environment or a related field can be beneficial. We're committed to providing comprehensive training to ensure your success in the role.

This is a remote work-from-home position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. However, you must live within 1 hour of our Wichita, KS contact center to meet licensing requirements. Our work environment is casual, yet energetic and engaging, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
