Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs, working with a broad spectrum of technical issues across multiple AWS services.
  • Customer Communication: Drive customer communication during critical events, providing timely and effective updates on issue resolution and progress.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues, leveraging extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services.
  • Content Creation: Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community, sharing knowledge and expertise with a wider audience.
  • Process Improvement: Drive projects that improve support-related processes and our customers' technical support experience, continuously seeking ways to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Coach and mentor new hires, developing and presenting training programs to help them get up to speed quickly.

Basic Qualifications

  • Programming Languages: Experience with one or more modern programming languages, data structures, algorithms, HTTP, and troubleshooting API calls.
  • System Administration: Knowledge or experience with system administration and troubleshooting in Linux and/or Windows.
  • Networking: Knowledge or experience with Networking and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS.
  • Mobile and IoT Technologies: Experience with mobile and IoT technologies, including Amplify, Appsync, Device Farm, IoT Core, IoT Device Management, and IoT Analytics.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
