About the Role: Remote Customer Service/Sales Representative - Retention Specialist

In this critical role, you will serve as a Retention Specialist, playing a key part in retaining customers who wish to cancel their blithequark services. As an expert problem solver in a retention and sales capacity, you will handle a high volume of incoming calls from customers requesting to cancel and proactively identify opportunities to recommend long-term solutions, keeping customers' business with blithequark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize customer service and sales experience daily to provide award-winning customer experiences, increasing brand loyalty and retaining customers for the long term.
  • Save the business by re-selling customers on the value of blithequark's services and products, addressing their concerns, and reducing frustration.
  • Handle back-to-back calls with care, empathy, compassion, and professionalism, ensuring the best customer experience.
  • Leverage exceptional de-escalation skills on difficult escalated calls, focusing on identifying concerns and providing multiple offers to resolve customer issues.
  • Retain long-term business for blithequark through customer service commitments, providing the right solutions to save customers.
  • Use proven problem-solving skills to quickly identify the cause of a cancellation request and create quick calculations to negotiate the right solution with the customer.
  • Consistently improve performance and achieve goals, multitasking with several tools (10+) to retain customers and make them customers for life.
  • Maintain knowledge of blithequark policies, products, services, and systems, as well as knowledge of the wireless industry, service capabilities, and other security companies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales role tied to performance, where you had to sell or save customers.
  • 2+ years of Call Center Customer Service/Sales Experience.
  • High school diploma, GED, college degree, or some college experience.
  • Ability to work with numerous screens and programs open to help resolve customer issues.
  • Experience in Sales, Customer Retention, Customer Experience, and retaining customers' loyalty to a product or service.
  • Ability to interpret contracts and communicate terms and conditions.
  • Active listening and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the security or related industry.
  • Knowledge of blithequark's products and services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate starting at $18.00 per hour, with incremental increases every 30 days until reaching $21.00 per hour after 180 days.
  • Full benefits on the 1st of the month after 31 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer matching, paid vacation time, and tuition reimbursement.
