Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Records Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining legal records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, legal research capabilities, and a solid understanding of administrative processes within a legal environment. The Records Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team by providing efficient record-keeping and administrative assistance.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and organize legal records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist in the drafting of legal documents and correspondence as needed.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team, data entry, and document management.
• Respond to inquiries from clients with excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline record-keeping processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and legal regulations regarding record handling.
Experience
• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a legal setting.
• Familiarity with paralegal duties or experience as a paralegal is highly desirable.
• Strong analysis skills to interpret complex information effectively.
• Manage and maintain accurate medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in the organization and retrieval of patient information, utilizing electronic health record systems effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the accuracy of medical documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong writing skills for clear communication of information.
• Experience in customer service to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
