Key Responsibilities

• Cover all aspects of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment services within social housing environments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Provide excellent professional customer service to tenants, addressing their needs and concerns in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
• Utilize a handheld device (PDA) to process tasks and works electronically, including worksheets, timesheets, and photographic evidence of works before, during, and after completion.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and replenish van stock as necessary, ensuring the availability of necessary materials and tools for tasks.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• A qualification or apprenticeship in Plumbing at a minimum Level 2.
• Proven experience in maintenance and repairs, preferably within the plumbing trade.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, colleagues, and management.
• A valid UK Driving License, ensuring mobility and the ability to travel to various locations as required.
• No criminal record, adhering to the company's strict vetting processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within the social housing sector, understanding its unique challenges and requirements.
• Familiarity with handheld devices (PDAs) and electronic reporting systems.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
