Looking for YouTube Ads Consultant

We’re a passionate direct-response ecommerce brand in the pet space, dedicated to helping pet owners improve their pets’ health and happiness through our innovative, high-quality products. We’ve grown fast via organic and paid channels, and now we’re ready to scale with YouTube ads — but we need a strategic expert to lead the charge. ⸻ Your Role We’re looking for a YouTube Ads Specialist who can own the entire process: from strategy and scripting to campaign execution and optimization. This is a key role with potential for long-term collaboration and performance incentives. You’ll be responsible for: • Developing YouTube ad strategy: full-funnel approach (cold traffic, retargeting, LTV-focused) • Writing ad scripts that convert (direct response style – with strong hooks, storytelling, and CTA) • Collaborating with our video editor for ad creatives (b-roll, UGC, product shots, etc.) • Setting up and optimizing campaigns in Google Ads Manager • Running A/B tests across creatives, hooks, audiences, bidding strategies • Tracking performance and reporting on KPIs (CPA, ROAS, retention) • Scaling winning campaigns profitably and sustainably ⸻ ✅ You Must Have: • Proven success with YouTube ads for DTC brands (bonus: if in pet, health, or wellness niches) • Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles • Experience crafting or guiding high-converting video scripts • Deep knowledge of YouTube Ads via Google Ads, including campaign types, targeting, and tracking • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze data and iterate quickly • Excellent communication and project management skills ⸻ Compensation & Terms: • Open to hourly or project-based, depending on fit and scope • Potential for long-term ongoing work if results are strong ⸻ How to Apply: Please include: 1.
