Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator at Blithequark, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Discord community remains a welcoming, informative, and safe space for all members. This part-time, remote position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team committed to equality and fair hiring practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and moderate the official Discord server to enforce community guidelines and rules.
• Delete messages that violate server rules, mute or ban users as necessary, and handle repeat offenders.
• Investigate reports from users regarding potential rule violations and take appropriate action.
• Collaborate with the community management team to develop and implement strategies for community engagement and growth.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in community management and moderation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to community members.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Discord and its moderation tools is a plus.
