Job Summary

We're seeking a fully remote Live Chat Customer Support Specialist to handle live chats from customers worldwide. As a Live Chat specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support, answering customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. If you're a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer support, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to live chats from customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about our shipping containers and services
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a efficient and effective manner
  • Utilize our CRM system to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with our sales team to identify sales opportunities and provide support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on our products and services
  • Work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer support, preferably in a live chat or chat support environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and live chat platforms
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm EST (with flexibility to adjust to other time zones)

Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Experience in the shipping or logistics industry
  • Knowledge of shipping containers and industry terminology
  • Certification in customer support or a related field
  • Experience with multiple time zones and languages

  • Competitive base salary of $500 per month
  • 5% commission on container sales (approximately $20-$30 per container)
