Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues via phone, web, or written correspondence, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Attract, guide, and educate members about blithequark plans, products, and resources, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits and options.
  • Answer questions and resolve issues from members, providers, and other departments, escalating complex issues to senior staff as needed.
  • Document and track interactions with members, providers, and plan supports, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Guide members through their plan benefits, blithequark procedures, and policies, while being knowledgeable about resources to adapt to changing regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with members, understanding their needs and advocating on their behalf to ensure their best interests are represented.
  • Proactively identify member needs, anticipating and addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide members with relevant information to address unasked questions, such as plan details, benefit information, and self-service tools.
  • Understand member opportunities and limitations according to contract, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Four-year certification or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or retail environment, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and patient.
  • Experience working in a production environment, with ability to multitask and meet productivity standards.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks to accomplish responsibilities efficiently.
  • Familiarity with clinical terminology and ability to understand complex medical concepts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to remain accurate and composed under pressure.
