Copy Editor Needed for Printed & Digital Conference & Marketing Materials
The Immunoglobulin National Society (IgNS) is seeking an experienced copy editor and proofreader to support our team in preparing printed and digital materials for our upcoming national conference and ongoing initiatives.
This role is focused on editing, grammar and syntax review, and ensuring a professional, cohesive tone across all non-medical content. Materials may include:
• Program books
• Meter boards and signage
• Conference app content
• Promotional flyers and handouts
• Sponsor or exhibitor copy
• Website content and digital materials
Scope of Work:
• Review provided content for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and consistency
• Ensure tone aligns with our brand (professional, clear, accessible)
• Provide light copy edits or rewrites where needed
• Collaborate with our internal team on quick-turn projects as deadlines approach
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in copy editing and proofreading
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to follow brand and tone guidelines
• Experience with conference or event materials a plus
• Strong communication and availability via email or chat for quick edits
• Familiarity with multiple editorial styles (e.g., APA, Chicago, AP)
Estimated Duration: Short-term (August–October 2025) with potential for recurring work post-conference
