We work closely with our colleagues in Choice Science, Client and Innovation, and other departments to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of our business. Our team is passionate about using data to drive business decisions and improve our operations, and we are always looking for new and innovative ways to use data to achieve our goals. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop and maintain our cloud-based data pipelines. As a Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines and systems that support our business operations. You will work closely with our colleagues in Choice Science, Client and Innovation, and other departments to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of our business. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data pipelines and systems that support our business operations * Collaborate with our colleagues in Choice Science, Client and Innovation, and other departments to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of our business * Develop and maintain data pipelines and systems using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab * Work with large datasets and cloud-based technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS * Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to support our data pipelines and systems * Collaborate with our colleagues to identify and prioritize data requirements and develop data solutions to meet those needs * Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support our business operations * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering at blithequark **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field * 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support * Strong experience with Python and SQL, ideally with Snowflake * Experience with creating and maintaining automated workflows and schedulers * Strong understanding of data set design and capability * Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based technologies, ideally Snowflake, Databricks, or similar **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with cloud-based design and product contributions, ideally AWS * Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control item like GitLab/GitHub * Experience using Docker * Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and experienced data engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
