Job Overview

The Remote Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for a variety of daily operational tasks related to file organization, maintenance, storage, and security. These tasks include, but are not limited to, the creation, labeling, tracking, storage, and cleansing of both electronic and paper files in accordance with blithequark's policies, procedures, and workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data entry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming electronic and hard-copy records into blithequark-approved storage, ensuring all files are properly labeled and easily accessible.
  • Prepare and scan hard-copy documents into electronic format, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Assist with tracking custody of official files and their contents, whether in electronic or paper format, to ensure compliance with blithequark's information governance policies.
  • Respond to requests to locate, retrieve, return, or update items in a timely and professional manner, providing high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders.
  • Review electronic and hard copy files for accuracy and proper organization, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or issues found.
  • Assist with the transfer, closing, retention, and cleansing of files in accordance with blithequark's procedures, ensuring all actions are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Comply with blithequark's policy, procedures, and workflows related to information storage and governance, and assist with communicating these standards to personnel across the organization.
  • Provide input to management about workload and workflows, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and efficiency within the team.
  • Participate in special projects as requested, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for the Remote Data Entry Specialist position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Outlook email, as well as familiarity with office equipment such as scanners and printers.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a remote work setting.
