  • Job Title: Remote Professional Music Instructor – Part‑Time MAA‑Certified Teacher (Store 5521)
  • Employment Type: Part‑time, with the possibility of expanding to full‑time based on performance and demand

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

As a Remote Professional Music Teacher, you will be the heartbeat of the student experience. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:

  • Deliver high‑quality, personalized music lessons to students ranging from beginners to advanced players across a variety of instruments (guitar, piano, voice, drums, strings, brass, woodwinds, and more).
  • Design curricula that align with each student’s goals, skill level, and learning style, incorporating theory, technique, repertoire, and performance practice.
  • Maintain detailed progress reports and communicate regularly with parents or guardians, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and upcoming milestones.
  • Utilize Music & Arts’ proprietary online teaching platform to schedule lessons, share resources, and track student attendance and payment.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through webinars, mentorship programs, and peer‑review sessions offered by the company.

Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a closely related field; an equivalent combination of professional experience and certifications will also be considered.
  • Teaching Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of private or group instruction experience, with a proven track record of student retention and progress.
  • MAA Certification: Current MAA (Music & Arts Association) professional teaching credential or willingness to attain certification within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Technical Requirements: Reliable high‑speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download/upload), a webcam with at least 1080p resolution, a quality headset or external microphone, and a quiet, well‑lit teaching space.
