Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from patients and caregivers with empathy, professionalism, and a friendly demeanor, responding to their questions and providing critical information to support their needs.
  • Actively assist with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and caregivers.
  • Rapidly retrieve information to address payroll-related inquiries from caregivers, providing timely and accurate solutions to their concerns.
  • Utilize effective de-escalation techniques to support upset or frustrated callers, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Offer expert guidance and directions to both caregivers and patients, empowering them to effectively resolve any challenges they face and achieve their goals.
  • Accurately document information and outcomes as necessary, maintaining detailed records of interactions and ensuring continuity of care.

About You

To excel in this role, you should have at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting. You will also need strong computer skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support when required. Additionally, you should possess:

  • Excellent active listening skills, allowing you to understand and respond to the needs of patients and caregivers effectively.

Your Home Office Environment

To succeed as a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will need a dedicated home office environment that meets the following technical requirements:

  • A computer with Windows 10 or 11 operating system (Macs and Chromebooks are not supported at this time).
  • 8GB of RAM and a minimum of 500MB of free hard drive space.
  • A sound card (standard on most computers) and up-to-date antivirus software.
  • Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite connections, please).
  • Dual monitors and a USB noise-cancelling headset.
  • A webcam for certification and training purposes.
