About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in delivering superior customer support throughout the day. Your primary responsibilities will include answering customer calls, resolving issues, and providing solutions to help our customers achieve their goals. You'll also have the opportunity to build sales experience by upselling additional services to customers who are looking to enhance their outdoor living space. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about customer service, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer support through phone, email, and other channels
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Upsell additional services to customers to meet their needs and drive business growth
- Provide product and service information to customers, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
- Meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets and sales goals
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow. Our ideal candidate will have:
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one-year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve conflict in a professional and decisive manner
- Foundational sales skills, with the ability to upsell products and services to meet customer needs
- Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and internal teams in a professional and courteous manner
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media applications (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Ability to learn and apply general knowledge of the company, products, and services
- Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to instructions, processes, and procedures
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to calculate (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) in all units of measure
- Good organizational and time management skills, including punctuality for on-time attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Knowledge of lawn care, tree and shrub care, and pest control services
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
