Primary Purpose Of Position
This position’s primary role is to provide monthly and ad hoc reports, provider performance dashboards, and internal dashboards for HEDIS/Performance measures. This role will work closely with our HEDIS Support Specialist to ensure timely and accurate transmission of data to providers required by our Value Based Program. In addition, this individual will work closely with the HEDIS manager to pull the necessary SQL queries needed to support the HEDIS program.

And Responsibilities
• Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources including SQL, Excel, and cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain robust data models using Power BI, including DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
• Perform deep-dive analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and performance drivers.
• Optimize report performance and manage data refresh schedules.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and ensure data governance best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Leverage AI visuals and advanced analytics tools within Power BI.
• Integrate Python scripts for custom analytics and visualizations.
• Document processes and provide training/support to end-users.
• Experience in analyzing HEDIS or any quality measures and tracking compliance trends.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations, PHI handling, and payer-provider data interactions.
• Familiarity with data validation, standardization, and profiling techniques.
• Reporting & Visualization:
Power BI, Tableau (preferred)
• Decent Experience with Python is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge,
Skills And Abilities
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to handle large healthcare datasets.
• Experience in data modeling, validation, and standardization.
• Knowledge of US healthcare data models (Claims, Clinical, HEDIS, Lab, Immunizations).
• Databases: SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks
• ETL & Data Pipelines: SSIS, ADF (Azure Data Factory)
Education/Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and four (4) years Power BI or data reporting experience.
Education/Experience Preferred
Power BI licensing preferred.
