As a key member of our business intelligence and data science team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and develop data models, databases, and data visualizations to support business intelligence and data science initiatives * Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and develop predictive models to inform business decisions * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences * Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity * Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement * Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills and expertise * Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or operations research * 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making * Proficiency in data analysis software and applications, including Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python, and R * Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data visualization principles * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with SAFE Spry, TSQL/PLSQL, and other data analysis tools and technologies * Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling techniques * Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles * Experience with data automation and scripting languages, such as Python or R **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders * Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data visualization principles * Proficiency in data analysis software and applications, including Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python, and R * Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles * Experience with data automation and scripting languages, such as Python or R **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills and expertise.
