Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate patient and medication information. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations, resolve customer issues, and promote a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Model and convey a positive and exceptional customer experience, ensuring that customers receive courteous, fair, and professional service.
  • Register sales on assigned sales register, process customer transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions.
  • Engage with customers and patients, offering help with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace, including counters, stockrooms, and equipment, and perform tasks such as inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Perform administrative duties, including processing manual claims, handling calls, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support the pharmacy team in inventory management activities, such as ordering, receiving, and storing shipments of medications.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances and maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Previous work experience with blithequark or a similar organization.
  • Good numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through our training program.
  • Knowledge of store inventory control and experience with data entry and administrative tasks.
