If so, we invite you to join blithequark as an Experienced Customer Service Representative, working remotely to provide top-notch support to our valued customers. **Why You'll Love This Role** As a member of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our credit union's daily features, including check processing, object processing, direct bills, and budget transfers. You'll work closely with various departments, vendors, and institutions to resolve complex issues, answer member inquiries, and maintain strict compliance with NACHA regulations and federal banking laws. **Key Responsibilities** * Complete statistical access and balancing features to ensure accurate financial records * Coordinate return objects with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and facilitate smooth transactions * Assist various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing to maintain financial integrity * Work member cases/assignments to provide timely and effective support * Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and federal banking laws * Process mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams * Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products to ensure accuracy and security * Log, study, and make important GL, account changes, and/or returns to maintain financial records * Process Stop Pays and Check Batching to prevent unauthorized transactions * Complete daily balancing and department closing to ensure accurate financial records * Obtain information from contributors for timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget switch requests * Research and verify incoming and outgoing budget switch information to prevent errors and discrepancies * Communicate with vendors to facilitate budget transfers and resolve issues * Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming budget switch regulations to ensure compliance * Deposit check returns, review member re-exams on draft changes, process member exams, verify contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees to ensure timely resolution of issues **What You'll Need for Success** **Minimum Qualifications** * High school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer/member service experience * Previous banking or Credit Union experience * Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience **Essential Skills and Competencies** * Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education * Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and capacity for attention to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance * Must pass relevant blithequark and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams **What We Offer** * Competitive compensation and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Flexible remote work arrangement * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Access to training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at blithequark.
