**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with our pharmacists and pharmacy team to provide patient-centric care, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records. You will be responsible for:
* Assisting pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions
* Modeling and providing a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer inquiries
* Developing strong relationships with valuable customers and promoting blithequark's services and products
* Performing duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions
* Maintaining accurate records, including patient and drug information, and reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty
* Registering all related income on assigned cash register, collecting and handling coins as required, and taking customers to the OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise
* Handling telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
* Processing guide claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performing other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager
* Assisting with stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs
* Maintaining knowledge of company asset safety procedures and documenting claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order mistakes, or broken goods related to Rx capsules
**Essential Qualifications**
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
* Preferably 6 months of experience in a retail environment
* Previous work experience with blithequark is a plus
* Strong math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medicines
* Proficient computer skills
* Knowledge of store inventory management
* Preferably certified as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience with pharmacy systems and software
* Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Familiarity with blithequark's policies and procedures
**Education and Personal Development**
* Earn and maintain PTCB certification through blithequark's unique training program and/or state required certification/registration
* Attend training and complete PPLs as assigned by the manager and acquire continuing education credits
* Maintain expertise and knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments
* Through completion of the blithequark pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE)
