Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for delivering superior customer support throughout the day by answering customer calls, resolving issues, and providing solutions to help customers achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to blithequark customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions in a timely and professional manner
  • Build sales experience by upselling additional services to customers, identifying opportunities to enhance their outdoor living space and providing personalized recommendations
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of blithequark products and services, staying up-to-date on new offerings and promotions
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, resolve conflicts, and provide exceptional support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, escalate concerns, and provide feedback to improve overall customer experience
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, using computer systems and software to document conversations, resolve issues, and track customer information

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one-year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve conflict in a professional and decisive manner
  • Foundational sales skills, with the ability to upsell products and services to meet customer needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional business setting
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media applications (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Ability to learn and apply general knowledge of blithequark products and services, with a keen attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Knowledge of lawn care, tree and shrub care, or pest control services
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
