Job Overview As a Disability Access Service Video Chat Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Disney Central Team, responsible for assisting guests in registering for the Disability Access Service. You will provide support for guests' accessibility needs, using our various services available for guests with disabilities, and apply your proficiency in planning bookings to ensure an outstanding experience. In this role, you will also support guests with their digital experience through our website and the My Disney Experience application. Your exceptional communication skills, technical abilities, and passion for delivering outstanding guest service will make you an ideal candidate for this position. Key Responsibilities • Assist guests in registering for the Disability Access Service, providing support for their accessibility needs and ensuring an outstanding experience. • Utilize various services available for guests with disabilities, applying your knowledge and expertise to resolve guest inquiries and concerns. • Support guests with their digital experience through our website and the My Disney Experience application, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting as needed. • Attend a paid training class, participating in multiple performance assessments to develop your skills and knowledge. • Work in an inbound contact center environment, handling confidential information and providing conflict resolution through a balance of integrity and partner resourcing. • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, using your technical abilities and computer proficiency to resolve guest inquiries and concerns. Essential Qualifications • Sales and service experience in a customer service or contact center environment, with knowledge and interest in Disney property, products, and services. • Demonstrated technical abilities and computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and work with various systems and applications, including Microsoft Office Tools and Guest Service Suite. • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information and provide conflict resolution. • Comfortable asking discovery questions to acquire relevant information from guests, resolving which accessibility service(s) are the best fit or which may require further medical consultation/evaluation. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience working in a disability-related field or with guests with disabilities, with a deep understanding of accessibility services and solutions. • Knowledge of Disney property, products, and services, with the ability to apply this knowledge to resolve guest inquiries and concerns. • Experience working in an inbound contact center environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. • Technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and Guest Service Suite, with the ability to learn and work with various systems and applications.
