We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a part-time Tier 1 Customer Support Agent. As a remote-based contractor, you will be responsible for providing quick and effective support to our worldwide participants, addressing their technical, logistical, and administrative queries in a professional and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically support clients with their tech, logistical, and other needs via email, chat, phone, and web-based tools, demonstrating patience, understanding, and product knowledge.
  • Accurately identify and troubleshoot technical and non-technical issues in a timely manner for a global set of users with diverse environments and scenarios.
  • Promptly escalate more complex problems to appropriate internal team members, ensuring seamless issue resolution.
  • Demonstrate a familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of our programs, learning content, and technical products, with training provided.
  • Continuously endeavor to improve the quality of our support and service, both internally and externally, contributing to the growth and success of blithequark.
  • Monitor live online video conferencing events and provide live immediate assistance to participants, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience.

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of work experience, preferably with a SaaS company or a product/technology division, with a strong background in customer support.
  • Poise and professionalism to respond to high-level executives from around the world, with executive support experience being a plus.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal – that recognize and adapt to the wide range of blithequark participants, with the ability to communicate effectively via email, phone, and video.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or other CRM), website backend/administrative interfaces (e.g., Wordpress/Rails Admin), cloud-based tools, and exposure to help desk software.
  • Outstanding task management skills across a varied set of responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or Japanese is highly valued, as it will enable you to provide support to a broader range of clients.
