Position: Purchasing Analyst (Remote) Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53226... Duration: 2-3 Months (Contract to Hire) Pay: $20/hr Requirements • Leverage multiple data sources to build consolidated software inventories. • Experience with Excel and SmartSheets; familiar with Excel functions VLOOKUP, INDEX, IFERROR; creating pivot tables. • Assist and own data reconciliation based on guidance provided. • Track financial spend; investigate and report on variances as it relates to software spend • Assist Financial Lead with maintaining financial forecast as it relates to software spend, covering monthly, quarterly and full year views. • Assist Software Asset Management team with PO creation and receipting. • Connect with end user community to collect details and validated software utilization; includes communicating and responding to emails or connecting over MS Teams with software owners to discuss details. • Attend daily/weekly stand-up calls and provide progress updates. • Run various reports on software spend based on parameters provided. • Top 2 skills: 1) finance as it relates to software purchasing and 2) advanced skillset in Excel and SmartSheets. Description • Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies or services necessary for the operation of an establishment. • Responsible for buying goods and services for use by their company or organisation. • Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor. • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. • Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, and other relevant factors. • Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts. • Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services. • Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods. Education/Experience • Bachelor's degree in a financial discipline - preferred. 3-5 years of finance-related experience required. Skills And Competencies • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills. • Ability to analyse financial reports, price proposals and other technical data. • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. • Ability to predict consumer buying patterns. • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing. • Knowledge of supply chain management Apply Job!
