Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
5+ years experience developing software or test automation frameworks using two of the programming languages Java, Ruby, Node.js or Objective C. Java is preferred.
Prior experience with established Software development and monitoring tools (GitLab, GIT, Eclipse/Android Studio/X-Code, Bamboo, Harness, Splunk, AppDynamics).
Experience with CI/CD and integrating automated testing.
Experience implementing test automation frameworks for API, web or mobile platforms (hybrid, iOS or Android) using any test automation tools Appium, Selenium, Web driver, Rest-Assured API, and Cucumber. Cucumber is preferred.
AWS or Cloud experience.
Kubernetes.
Background and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in building and executing automated and performance tests for REST and XML/SOAP/JSON based services.
Experience testing system/server level software, networking (sockets) and protocols: HTTP, SIP, Rest Services.
Knowledge of Performance/Load Testing is a plus.
Agile/Lean methodologies experience preferred.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Implements an automated test structure in the CI/CD pipeline. Directly contribute to the development of automated component, system integration (E2E), regression, and backward compatibility/regression tests through continuous integration. Executes automated and manual test suites and ensure overall system quality prior to production release. Reports defects and issues to development teams and manage defects through to successful resolution. Creates software test artifacts including test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test summary reports. Continually seek opportunities to improve, optimize and simplify existing testing processes and methodologies. Works together with relevant teams and departments to improve product quality. Provides training, mentorship, and support to quality engineering team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core Quality processes.
