Key Responsibilities
• * Customer Support: Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous assistance to customers via phone, email, and chat regarding flight reservations, changes, cancellations, and general inquiries.
• * Problem Solving: Resolve customer issues by analyzing situations, understanding customer needs, and providing suitable solutions while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• * Flight Assistance: Help customers with flight-related questions including baggage policies, flight status, boarding procedures, and other travel-related inquiries.
• * Booking Management: Assist customers with managing their bookings, including ticketing, changes, upgrades, and refund requests.
• * Customer Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate, providing feedback to the appropriate teams to improve Delta services and policies.
• * Compliance: Adhere to Delta Airlines policies and procedures, ensuring that all customer interactions meet regulatory and quality standards.
• * Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure a consistent and seamless customer experience.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or remote environment.
• * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• * Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers, software applications, and remote work tools. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology.
• * Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations, identify problems, and provide solutions.

• Experience
• * Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
• * Experience: Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, with a preference for those who have worked in the airline or travel industry.
• Working Hours
• * Flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of our global customer base.
• * Full-time and part-time positions are available.
• * Remote work allows for a flexible schedule, but punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• * Airline Industry Knowledge: Understanding of airline operations, including ticketing, flight schedules, and baggage policies, is a plus.
• * Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
• * Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to interact with a diverse customer base, understanding and respecting cultural differences.
• * Stress Management: Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during peak travel seasons or during flight disruptions.
