You will be given the means and mentorship needed to succeed, and your creativity will be rewarded.About the PositionDexis Professional Services (DPS) is seeking a Project Control Lead to provide on-site support to the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO). The Project Control Lead will be a part of a contract team providing support to the OCHCO Front Office and select OCHCO offices by sustaining OCHCO operations in the areas of acquisition and procurement administration, budget formulation and execution, and administrative support, and surge support as necessary.OCHCO is responsible for HR services for the Department of Homeland Security. OCHCO fulfills its congressionally mandated mission requirements through various Components, Divisions and the Business Operations that support OCHCO. The OCHCO Front Office, led by the Chief of Staff, ensures necessary collaboration, execution, monitoring, and completion of actions; provides strategic guidance; coordinates internal/external communication, executive correspondence, integration, and special projects, and administration to ensure efficient and effective organization success; provides financial management, contract management, facilities management, space management, quality assurance, and administrative support functions.This full-time position is located in the Washington, D.C. area and is required to be on-site full time, subject to change if requirements shift. This position is contingent upon contract award.Responsibilities
- Reviews contracts and identifies project control requirements.
- Determines staff assignments, project control systems, and administrative and financial reporting requirements.
- Tracks and validates all client financial information.
- Establishes and maintains master contract files.
- Prepares reports on and monitors status of all deliverables.
- Ensures quality assurance in all products delivered.
- Tracks the financial status of contracts and reports payment of government fees.
- Prepares and updates task status reports and prepares revenue projections reports.
- Employs automated tools and systems to perform project control functions.
- Ability to pass Department of Homeland Security background investigation and be eligible for EOD suitability.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- At least three years of relevant project management experience.
- Functional command of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and sound professional.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to take responsibility for multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience providing lifecycle contractor support and services to DHS.
- Demonstrated knowledge of USG contracting rules and regulations, preferably with DHS.
- Experience in acquisition and procurement administration, including procurement request execution and administration, and contract and undelivered order closeouts.
- Familiarity with the DHS FFMS and PRISM systems.
Expected salary: $73000 - 83000 per year
